- Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
The EU Directive 2002/96/EC also
known as "the WEEE Directive" requires manufacturers to mark all new
equipment with the following symbol to facilitate recovery and
treatment of WEEE. This directive became effective in August 2005.

All products
manufactured by Boundless Technologies are marked with this label as
a reminder to our customers of their obligation to recycle these
products.
Restrictions on Hazardous Substances
The EU Directive 2002/95/EC, also
known as the Restriction of (certain) Hazardous Substance or the
RoHS Directive, was published in the Official Journal of the
European Union in February of 2003. It was at this point that the
RoHS Directive became law within Europe.
The new European regulations
restricting substances in electronic equipment is by far the most
stringent regulation imposed on the electronics industry to date.
The target substances are lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium,
mercury, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl (PBDE)
flame retardants. The deadline for compliance to the RoHS directive
is July 1, 2006.
All Boundless products are
