| WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment |
 EU Directive 2002/96/EC,
also known as the WEEE Directive, requires manufacturers to mark all
new equipment with the symbol at left to facilitate recovery and
treatment of WEEE. This directive became effective in August 2005. All products manufactured by Boundless Technologies are marked with this label as a reminder to our customers of their obligation to recycle these products.

EU Directive 2002/95/EC, also known as the Restriction of (certain) Hazardous Substance or the RoHS
Directive, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union
in February of 2003.
The target substances are lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, mercury, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl (PBDE) flame retardants. The deadline for compliance to the RoHS directive
was July 1, 2006.
All Boundless thin clients are RoHS compliant.
All Boundless text terminals manufactured beginning June 2009 are
RoHS compliant. For thin clients manufactured prior to June 2009, see
below for RoHS-compliant model numbers.
