What Is Form N-426?

Form N-426 is used by current or former members of the U.S. armed forces to request certification of their military service. This certification is required for certain naturalization benefits under sections 328 and 329 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which allow eligible service members to apply for U.S. citizenship.

Processing Time

The processing time for Form N-426 depends on how you submit it and the time it takes to get the certification from your military command.
