Arit Butani
Supervising Immigration Counsel
Arit Butani is a seasoned immigration attorney who serves as Supervising Immigration Counsel at Boundless. He is particularly adept at providing guidance across various visa categories, including nonimmigrant visas, and skillfully manages Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) cases, including audit responses. Arit is also highly proficient in handling multinational or executive (I-140) petitions, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa petitions, consistently ensuring client needs are met with efficiency and precision.
Biography
Before joining Boundless, Arit served as Partner and Of Counsel at Fisher Phillips and as a Senior Attorney at Epstein Becker & Green, both national law firms. In these roles, he provided comprehensive support to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and individuals. His work covered employment-based visa programs such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, and PERM labor certifications, along with family immigration, waivers, and adjustment of status applications. He also advised corporate clients and HR professionals on I-9 compliance, E-Verify protocols, internal audits, and anti-discrimination rules under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
After years of practicing at traditional law firms, Arit joined Boundless to be part of a mission-driven organization reimagining how immigration services are delivered. He was drawn to Boundless for its innovative blend of technology and expert legal guidance, aimed at making immigration more accessible, transparent, and efficient for families and businesses alike.

He holds a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona.
