H-1B lottery registration for FY 2025 will now run March 6th at 12PM EST to March 25th at 12PM EST. Make sure to register as soon as possible to ensure your registration process goes smoothly.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced it will extend the initial registration period for the FY 2025 H-1B cap. The initial registration period for the FY 2025 H-1B cap opened at 12PM Eastern Time on March 6, 2024, and will now run through 12 PM Eastern Time on March 25, 2024.
The registration period was originally scheduled to run through noon Eastern on March 22, 2024, but due to a temporary system outage which impacted some users, USCIS has extended by several days to give more applicants an opportunity to register.
USCIS says it still intends to notify selected registrants by March 31, 2024.
NOTE: Starting this year, all employers and their prospective H-1B employees will need to have a shared “myUSCIS organizational account” to participate in the H-1B electronic registration process. All registrants will also need to provide passport or travel document information when registering.
