How It Works

  1. Answer simple questions online

Complete our online questionnaire at your convenience. We’ll begin working on your K-1 visa application the moment you finish your questionnaire, starting with a thorough review of your answers.

  2. Get a personalized document checklist

Based on the information you provide, we’ll give you a personalized list of all the supporting documents you need to apply for a K-1 visa. Once you’ve uploaded the documents to our secure site, we’ll review them to make sure they meet government requirements and standards. No more guesswork!

  3. Legal Review by an independent immigration attorney

An experienced, independent immigration attorney will then review your entire fiance visa application to make sure it meets government standards and is ready to file. If your attorney flags any needed changes, they’ll send you easy-to-follow instructions through our software to make sure your application is error free and in the best possible state for filing.

  4. Your application printed and shipped to you

Our printing team will print and assemble your entire physical K-1 application package, including all forms and supporting documents, and arrange it in the exact way the U.S. government prefers. We’ll then send it to your doorstep for you to sign and mail. That’s it!

  5. Embassy Stage Guidance and Interview Prep

After mailing your application, you’ll just wait to hear back from the government. We’ll stay with you while your petition is being processed, helping you respond to any government questions. Once the government approves your petition, your case is moved to the next step in the process, the embassy stage. Boundless helps you prepare the next required forms, schedule your medical exam and gets you ready for your visa interview. We stay with you until your K-1 visa is in-hand!

Will my K-1 application be affected by COVID?

You may have heard that COVID-19 led to delayed K-1 visa processing in many countries. The good news is that U.S. embassies and consulates have now been authorized to prioritize K-1 visas again. Learn the current status of K-1 visa processing by country in our blog post. Please check this page regularly for updates. We’ll continue to update the blog post as we receive new information from immigration agencies.

It is also important to note that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is still accepting and processing Form I-129F (Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)). Even if you’re concerned about possible delays during the second, embassy stage of the K-1 visa process, applicants are encouraged to apply now, in order to jump-start the process.

My partner and I haven’t met in person yet. Can we still apply?

One of the government requirements to apply for the K-1 Fiancé Visa is that the couple has met in person at least once in the last two years at the time of filing. Even if you haven’t met in person yet, there are still several steps you can take to get a headstart on the process:

  1. Read up on the requirements: Before applying, you should read up on the K-1 Fiancé Visa process to better understand what is expected of you. A thorough understanding of the government requirements can help avoid delays or common pitfalls when filing. More information on the process can be found here.
  2. Collect proof of relationship: An important aspect of the K-1 visa application is proving to the U.S. government that the relationship is “bona fide”, or legitimate, and that the couple intends to marry. Applicants are encouraged to take lots of pictures together, keep receipts and proof of communication, and try to paint a holistic picture of their relationship. If you choose to work with Boundless on your K-1 visa application, our highly-trained team will provide you with more helpful examples of relationship evidence when it’s time to file.
  3. Make future travel arrangements: As travel and quarantine restrictions begin to ease, individuals can start making travel arrangements to meet their loved ones. Be sure to check our detailed blog post with the most up-to-date information we have on COVID-19 and country re-openings.

My fiancé(e) and I want to live together in the U.S. but we’re not sure what our options are. Is K-1 the only route we can take?

If you and your fiancé(e) are not married yet, and one of you is living outside of the U.S., you may be wondering what the best immigration path is. For couples in this situation, there are generally two visa options to choose from: K-1 Fiancé(e) Visa or CR-1 Spousal Visa. There are pros and cons to each path, with differences in government processing times, overall cost, and more. Check out our comparison chart below to help determine which visa may be right for you.

K1 11-17 months $2025 total (including green card application) Work and Travel: Only 3-6 months after filing green card application
CR1 12-18 months $1200 total Work and Travel: Immediately after arriving in the U.S.

Still not sure which visa is right for you, or feeling overwhelmed by the immigration process? Luckily, Boundless can help with either visa type! Reach out to our customer support team to discuss your options in more detail.

How does Boundless help us to live permanently in the U.S.?

If you choose to work with Boundless when applying for your K-1 visa, we can provide seamless help on the next stage of your immigration journey — getting a green card. You can have your green card application prepared and ready to file as soon as you’re married. Boundless safely and securely stores your K-1 petition information and supporting documents so that you don’t have to start from scratch when it comes time to prepare the green card application. Just let us know once you’re married, and let us take care of the rest! Our quick turnaround time for preparing the green card application can also help the K-1 visa holder take important steps towards independence in the United States. We understand that our K-1 customers want to be able to work in the U.S. and travel abroad to visit loved ones as soon as possible — two steps which require specific authorization from the government. Boundless can help you file your application quickly and get you one step closer to obtaining work and travel authorization.

With Boundless, you also gain peace of mind knowing that we will be your immigration partner from start to finish. Our team stays with you until your green card is in hand — helping you respond to any government requests, providing you with helpful information about the green card interview, and more. The green card process is generally more complex than the K1 visa process, with higher financial risks and longer timelines. Due to this, applying for a green card can be a difficult process to navigate alone, but we’re here to help every step of the way.

I’m thinking of filing for a K-1 on my own. Why should I work with Boundless?

Overall, filing for a K-1 visa can be an expensive and time-consuming process if the application hits any roadblocks. The process generally requires extensive research and a high attention to detail when completing the government forms and gathering supporting documents. Any minor mistakes on the application can potentially set the applicant back months, if not years, and end up costing thousands more than anticipated in government and legal fees.

Based on USCIS data in recent years, individuals who choose to complete the application on their own are 50 times more likely to receive a rejection than those who choose to work with an immigration company (like Boundless) or an attorney. Generally speaking, to protect one’s time and money, an applicant would want to file successfully the first time, and not take any chances on such an important process. Most people look to specific companies for help with governmental/administrative processes like filing their taxes, organizing their finances, etc. — immigration is no different.

Boundless is your immigration partner from start to finish and we can help you avoid potential rejections, delays and financial pitfalls. Our team helps you prepare your application and completes several rounds of anti-rejection reviews (including review by an independent immigration attorney) so that you can file with confidence the first time around.

How much does this all cost?

Our K-1 visa service is $995 and covers your complete application package — including legal and customer support.

You can also pay our fee in monthly installments, with no additional interest or fees. Unlike other companies, Boundless offers payment plans with flexible monthly terms — there are no minimum payments required before we finish your application so opting for a payment plan won’t halt your progress and you’ll never pay more than $995!

If your application is denied by the U.S. government, we will refund 100% of our service fees, minus independent attorney fees. (Certain exceptions apply.) Learn more about our money-back guarantee.

Can I include my foreign-born children on the application?

Yes! Similar to the K-1 visa process, the K-2 visa allows children of a K-1 visa application to enter the United States and later apply for a green card through the “Adjustment of Status” process.

To be eligible for the K-2 visa, the applicant must be the child of a K-1 visa holder, under the age of 21, and unmarried. They may travel with their parent, the K-1 visa holder, or later, but they cannot travel to the U.S. before their parent.

Boundless can help you include any unmarried children under the age of 21 on your K-1 visa application for no extra cost.

How do you have a 99.7% success rate?

In order to maintain such a high success rate for our customers, we review your application 4 separate times for errors or mistakes to ensure it’s ready to file:

  1. We review your forms with you to make sure they’re complete and accurate.
  2. We help you upload all of your supporting documents and then review each of them to make sure they meet U.S. government requirements and standards.
  3. We run a thorough quality assurance check to cross-reference your forms to your supporting documents, ensuring everything matches up.
  4. Lastly, we pass your application to an independent attorney in our network who reviews your entire application package one last time to check for any potential legal issues and make sure we didn’t miss anything.

Once your application is ready to file, we print and assemble it in exactly the way that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) prefers and ship everything to you.

How is your price so low compared to hiring a traditional immigration attorney?

With Boundless, you get an experienced independent immigration attorney who will review your entire application for your best chance of success — all at an affordable price up front, with no surprise fees.

We can deliver this extraordinary value for a fraction of what it would cost to engage an attorney on your own. When do I work with Boundless’ independent attorney?

After a comprehensive quality review by a Boundless application guide, an independent immigration attorney conducts a thorough legal review, providing written feedback on your application.

If the attorney finds anything they have questions about, they’ll reach out to you for more information. You’ll work with them to update any last pieces of your application before we print and ship it to you. Ultimately, your attorney is there to identify and address anything in your application that may slow it down, so that you can file quickly and with confidence.

Can I speak to an attorney before I get started?
