Warn started her career in the Pacific Northwest tech industry, and ran Seattle-based Expedia’s digital marketing until a side project took off.

The project, a pair of blogs named After Ellen and After Elton, aimed to give positive visibility to LGBTQ members of the entertainment industry, which she believed often showed members of LGBTQ communities in a negative light. The sites were incredibly popular, and in 2006 Warn was named one of they year’s “10 Amazing Gay Women in Showbiz” by the non–profit film production organization organization Power Up. After Ellen was named one of the “World’s 50 Most Powerful Blogs” by the Guardian in 2008; After Elton went on to become NewNowNext, an influential LGBTQ news and culture site.

After selling the sites to MTV Networks, Warn and her wife moved to Manhattan to run the sites for MTV. However, she decided to return home to the Pacific Northwest after a few years. She was connected with Xiao Wang, CEO of Boundless, by a colleague, and joined the company not long after. Warn now leads the Growth department, managing marketing, content, and sales for a growing company in a turbulent industry.

“Immigration is such a complicated, anxiety-riddled process,” Warnsaid. “That’s what we’re in the business of, ultimately, giving immigrants peace of mind, and confidence, to navigate the system in competent and affordable ways.”
