Biography

Sumayyah’s experience spans law firms, corporate environments, and solo practice. At PwC Law LLP (now Vialto Partners) in Toronto, she led H-1B strategy for the firm’s largest client, managing high-volume filings and advising on immigration risk. At Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL) in Dallas, she handled nonimmigrant visa filings for small and mid-sized companies, working directly with HR and legal teams to build scalable and compliant immigration processes. She later founded Badat Law PLLC in Houston, focusing on individual clients and investor-based visas, particularly E-2 visas.

Drawn to Boundless for its tech-forward mission, Sumayyah values the opportunity to transform how legal services are delivered. She is especially passionate about streamlining workflows, improving communication, and reducing friction in the immigration process to create a better client experience.

She holds a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston.
