Let’s start at the beginning of your immigration journey. How did you start your green card application process?
We first looked at completing the paperwork by ourselves and we were confused, not knowing why the government was asking all of these questions. When we got to some of the questions on the forms we were like, “We don’t know! What do you want us to say?” The questions the government asks…oh my God.

We began by talking to and comparing a lot of lawyers. Most of them offered consultations that cost money. We weren’t sure what that consultation included, but in our conversations it was clear that we still had to do all the work. We then looked online and came across Boundless. It was a really nice surprise! I [Mariana] took a picture and sent it to my mom. We were just expecting a yellow envelope with a lot of sheets inside, instead of a professional application that was very, very well put together.
