E visas are a category of nonimmigrant work visas designed for individuals engaged in international trade or investment in the U.S. Similar to entrepreneur visas, there are two main visa types within the E category: E-1 (Treaty Trader) and E-2 (Treaty Investor). 

Both the E-1 and E-2 visas offer significant advantages for both individual entrepreneurs and businesses aiming to establish a professional presence in the U.S. Before applying for an E-1 or E-2 visa for your business, it’s important to determine whether you belong to a qualifying E-1 or E-2 treaty country. Where to Find an Updated List of Eligible Treaty Countries

The Bureau of Consular Affairs (as part of the U.S. Department of State) provides an up-to-date list of all treaty countries and which visa classification countries are eligible for. As noted above, some countries are eligible for both E-1 and E-2, while some countries are only eligible for one of the two classifications.
